Slab Saver by Deco-Crete is an advanced finishing aid designed to simplify and enhance the concrete finishing process. Slab Saver extends workable time in challenging conditions such as high wind, heat, or low humidity, eliminating the need for adding water to the surface, which can compromise the surface strength of the slab. Slab Saver is ideal for finishing dry shake color hardeners and makes finishing type 1L cement, high-cement, air-entrained, or silica-enhanced concrete easier. Slab Saver’s advanced formula reacts during concrete hydration to create additional cementitious material, leading to a denser, more durable surface. Applied during the finishing process, Slab Saver offers significant long-term benefits for cured concrete. It reduces surface evaporation, mitigating issues like ASR, slab curling, and differential shrinkage. Additionally, Slab Saver enhances surface densification, preventing dusting and reducing efflorescence in both colored and standard concrete, ensuring a stronger, more resilient surface with less effort. Slab Saver is ready-to-use right out of the bucket and should not be diluted. Agitate before each use.
